After them, for a few days, a fresh and slightly humid wind comes from the south-west called Pampero because of its origin from the Pampa Argentina. On some occasions these cold fronts are stationed north of the Rio de la Plata, giving rise to the formation of low pressure systems that usually cause persistent rainfall for several days, covered skies and strong winds from the southeast over the city. The normal thing is that in this month, the maximum temperatures reach or exceed 25 ºC in most of the days of the month, although during the last days of October the temperature can reach (or slightly exceed) 30 ºC.

The bus is the most used public transport, with the advantages, depending on the line, of running all day and finding it on most of the streets of the city, since its routes make up a series of complementary high-reach lines.

The stops are identified with a sign indicating the number of the line and a summary of the main points of its route.

Each line has a number and the units of the same line are identified by one or up to three colors. The ascent is made through the front door and the descent through the back or through the central door. To request the descent to the driver, you must touch a bell that is near the door, in advance of the destination stop.

The rate scheme of the service depends on the route taken, the origin and destination of the passenger.

People pay the subway and the bus with the SUBE (Unique Electronic Ticket System) card. It is obtained and charged in different kiosks or subway stations.
